Should I buy only one Parakeet and keep it alone before I buy others?
It depends. If you plan on being with your bird all day,it's okay to buy only one.But if you are only going to be with your budgie for a short time,it's best to get him/her a companion.
Why isn't my budgie eating?
New budgies will not trust you at first, especially your food. They also don't like to be  watched while they're eating. As time passes,he'll/she'll will take a nibble on a few snacks that you provide him/her with.
